Terms of Service
The agreement for using raye2.app.
Version 2026-10-02
Draft for legal review. This text has not been reviewed by a lawyer and may change before launch.
1. Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using raye2.app you agree to these terms, to the Content Rules and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Rayeq operates the service. In these terms "we" and "us" mean Rayeq.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 16 years old to have an account. By signing up you confirm that you are, and that the information you give us is accurate.
You can read most of the service without an account.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your password and for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access to it.
One person, one account. Do not pretend to be someone else, and do not create accounts to get around a suspension.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what happens to your data.
4. What you post
Rayeq is built on people's real, personal experiences. What you post (opinions, comments, lists, edits to places and products) remains yours.
You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and distribute it as part of the service, including showing it to other people, in search results and in previews of links to it, and to make the technical copies needed to run the service. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies that are part of a backup until it is replaced, and for content other people have already quoted or shared.
You promise that what you post is your own genuine experience or view, that you have the right to post it, and that it follows the Content Rules. You must say when you have a commercial relationship with what you are writing about.
5. Content Rules
The Content Rules are part of these terms. In short: be honest, disclose commercial relationships, respect people, keep private information private, and do not spam. Disagreeing with an opinion is not a reason to remove it.
6. Moderation and appeals
People on our team review reports by hand. We can hide or remove content, warn you, or suspend an account that breaks these terms or the Content Rules. We tell you what we decided and why, and you can appeal once within 90 days.
We do not remove an opinion because it is negative, and nobody can pay us to change what is shown, remove an opinion, or change how places rank.
7. The service
Opinions on Rayeq are personal views of the people who wrote them. They are not statements of fact by us, and we do not verify them. Places and products change: always check what matters to you before you decide.
We work to keep the service available but we do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or stop features. Where a change affects your content in a way you would reasonably care about, we will tell you in advance.
8. Links and other services
The service links to places' own websites and works with other providers (for example to sign you in or to search for places). We are not responsible for other sites or services, and their terms apply to your use of them.
9. Our responsibility
To the extent the law allows: the service is provided "as is"; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for what other people post, or for decisions you make based on it; and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months (which, for a free service, is nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using the service and delete your account whenever you want. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if the law requires. If we do, we will tell you why unless the law prevents us.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you before it takes effect and may ask you to accept it again. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The competent courts have jurisdiction, without taking away any rights you have under mandatory consumer law where you live.
